Q: How do you ask your doctor to cure your anxiety & depression?
“I have anxiety that causes me depression. Can you cure me?”??? Is that what I should say to my doctor? Is that how you should start off? WHAT DO YOU SAY???
thanks!
A: Well I have the same and what I did was just explain what I have been feeling and then they usually will let you know what you have even though you know and then they will offer you some options like medication which I am on and helps a bunch or they will ask about doing therapy which I also have and helps a bunch or they will ask if you want to do both which I do and the combo works wounders. Good luck.
Q: Were should my Acupuncturist be putting the Needles to cure Depression & Anxiety?
I am currently undergoing Acupuncture for Depression & Anxiety, is there any certain location on the body were the needles should be placed.
A: It depends on the style, Chinese, Japanese, five element school etc. Probably Chinese protocols would include, Bai hui (Governor 20) on the top of the scalp, 5 element might use windows of the sky points around neck and upper torso, or release the 5 internal dragons, points on abdomen and legs, Japanese school uses points determined by abdominal reflexes. Most of the powerful points tend to be on forearms and lower legs, back points would also be included. It also depends on the insight of the practitioner and what issues he sees as require to be addressing. therefore protocols vary between practitioners. hope that was useful.

Q: Is there a cure for anxiety depression?
I have been struggling with anxiety for the past 6 years, this is why I’m looking for an effective cure for anxiety and get off medication. I’m really on the point to give up, and this makes me afraid.
Has anyone managed to find a good cure for anxiety ?
A: anxiety is my every day fight for it. I know exactly how you feel. The desperation is big and the impulse of going away . I really know how is it. well let me tell a few things that works for me, maybe work for you too. First you have to follow some rules:
1-You have to learn to change the way you are thinking. This means BLOCK bad thoughts in the moment that came out to your mind.
2-NEVER see violence programs on tv or news that included violence .
3-drink warm milk before going to bed.
Remember my friend life is not easy but who told you it was? I wish you the best to you and if you need to talk here I am.
Q: Will Midol and other PMS medications help cure depression and anxiety? Is it safe for a man to take PMS meds?
I have a question. I have been suffering from recurent depression and anxiety most of my life. Someone told me that I should take Midol or some other PMS medication to treat depresion.
I am affraid to take that, because I am a guy. What affect would PMS medication have on a guy?
A: Midol and other PMS medications will not do much if you have a chemical imbalance that is causing your anxiety and depression. It may make you feel a little better for a while, but not enough to feel great. Those medications won’t do anything to you because you are male.
I suggest seeing a counselor. A counselor is often cheaper. They cannot prescribe medication, but they usually work for an M.D. or D.O. that can. Medication has made a world of difference for me and I do see a counselor on occasion.
Q: Cure anxiety depression?
Is panicyl is a good medicine for cure anxiety depression?
A: I was on Citalopram (also know as Celexa) it is a combination Anti-Anxiety Anti-Depression … it worked MIRACLES but then I started to have increased anxiety triggered by something else and so I added an additional as-needed anti anxiety and the problem was much better.
I recommend Citalopram/Celexa … I have tried several others and nothing did it for me quite like this one.
Good Luck! Stay Well!
Q: How can I cure my depression/anxiety without medication?
It’s moderate, I have panic attacks multiple times a day but they’re never that severe. I’m perfectly capable of smiling when I’m in public but I just feel hopeless at home.
A: Interact with people. Don’t be manic about it, but don’t spend a lot of time home alone either. Get out there. Take your cues from the people around you. If they aren’t stressed out, there’s no need for you to be either. Focus on what it is that they seem to be enjoying, not what your alone are afraid of.
Don’t be so quick to integrate everything based upon how it affects you. The reality is, you are pretty much anonymous (in a good way). The majority of the world is neither hostile nor supportive of your situation. They are just kind of ambivalent. Use this to your advantage. You control the level of interaction, ask questions, make jokes, offer support and opinions. It’s relaxing and satisfying to be relevant. That’s where the sense of hopelessness is coming from. Nip it in the bud.
Q: How can i cure my anxiety/depression?
Im 18 years old, and a couple months left before im a daddy, i dont want to end up losing my girl or baby because my dumbass feels worthless and isn’t happy with life:’(

Q: how do i cure anxiety and depression without going to the doctor?
i’m getting to the point where i don’t want to go outside as i fainted in town 3 weeks ago and i’m worried it will happen again. the ambulance team checked me out and said i was fine. i did have an eye infection and then i got a tooth absis and it’s left me really weak. any ideas. i do have a serve dust allergy (rhintis) which is really getting me down
A: Go out and face it. Same happened to me – I fainted while out and then didn’t go out again. It really ruined my life! But I started going out and facing it and now things are fine again. Just think positive! Nothing bad will happen. If you start to feel anxious just think positive. You are fine – last time was a one off. Or focus on something else to keep your mind off your feelings.
Start off with small things first if it really bothers you, then do that til you feel comfortable, then try something that makes you more anxious and keep doing that until you feel ok with it. For example, if you don’t want to go outside at all, just force yourself to walk to the end of the street a couple of times a day for a few days. Then try walking a bit further after that and keep repeating it.
Getting over the anxiety will help a lot with the depression.
A doctor or counselor will basically tell you the same thing – they call it CBT. It is self help, but you have to want to do. The only other option is medication and you can get over it without that. Best to at least try first
Q: Anyone here interested on being Spiritual as a cure for their anxiety/depression?
Sometimes psychologiest, psychiatrist doesnt work anymore for that long period of time. So just curious if anyone reach their peacefulness level from suffering.
Not asking to do things spiritually, but has anyone ever done it?
A: I don’t feel, believe or think that anything spiritual can help my mental illnesses and disorders. I have lived and suffered with them for over 25yrs. I have tried it, IT DOES “NOT” WORK! I am still just as mentally ill as I was before if not worse!
Q: How to get my anxiety and depression cure ?
Aches at left temple affecting optic nerve and eye-sight and mental well being.
Irritated easily
A: go out. listen to music. walk. eat veggies and fruits. try holistic-online.com. they have stuff about stress. socialanxietysupport.com is cool. um nolongerlonely, more-selfesteem.com, depression-helper.com,conqueringstress.com, shyunited.com. try every day to list something good about you. and man just indulge yourself once in a while.
Q: What are good ways to somewhat “cure” anxiety and depression without meds?
A: Well, I’ve said it before, but I find that good old fashioned will power is the best way to tackle depression. I know that sounds overly simplistic and I admit that it doesn’t work all the time, but in most cases approaching things with a confident, take charge attitude is the best route to go down.
Life is all about choices. Things are different for everyone, but very few of us have control over the things life throws our way. It’s how we react to those situations, good and bad, that define who we are as people. People say “you can’t change who you are”. That’s crap. With the right attitude and hard work, you can be whoever you want to be. Who is anyone else to dictate how you live your life and the what choices you make? Nobody can decide those things for you but you.
Believe me Madi, I know what feeling depressed feels like. The way I approach life though is that yes, things may not be so great, but it’s up to ME, not anyone else, to change them. That doesn’t mean that you will suddenly get over or forget your problems, it just means that you’re committed to improving your lot in life, and screw whatever anyone else says. If there is one thing I’ve learned from my situation with that girl I’ve told you about, it’s that it’s better to be pissed off and angry than sad. I honestly believe, to borrow a line from Christian Bale in Batman, “It isn’t who we are underneath. It is what we DO that defines us”. That’s something I try to live by.
Luke once gave me two great songs to listen to when I asked a similar question, and I think that they’d be good for you:
“Fine Again” by Seether

(I love this song)
and
“Sound of Madness” by Shinedown

I also really like this one for when I’m not feeling my best:
“Fake It” by Seether (the guy in the middle kind of looks like Jeff Hardy)

Q: Is there a way to cure severe depression and anxiety without medications?
all the medications have side effects and i’m tired of taking pills. They turn me into a zombie with no sex drive. What should I do?
A: That’s almost like asking how to fight diabetes w/o insulin.
If you have a chemical imbalance, there’s no amount of meditation or whatever you can do.
You can, however, find better meds. You actually sound more like a manic-depressant if you’re playing both sides like that. Mood stabilizers actually don’t kill my sex drive like the old meds did.
Q: Why do trees and forests and mountains cure my depression and anxiety?
When I see them I want to run in them, get away, and be free
A: I’m the EXACT same way!! I am a person who is constantly thinking and stressing, focusing on responsibilities and what I need to be doing WAY too much…and it stresses me to the point of tears at times. But the woods…ahhh, that is my escape.
Those moments where your soul is silent. I call those times stolen moments of pure peace.
) I even have a ring that I wear everyday of a tree, just to remind me to chill. I’ve actually taken to walking around a nearby lake everyday at lunch to chill out.
) It’s worked wonders!
I don’t know what it is about it, I’d like to think that maybe we’re more connected with the Earth, and can’t handle this plastic, stressful, ugly world that people have made for themselves. Glad to hear that I’m not the only one who is like this!
